Produce overseas, Sell overseas

Our overseas business has traditionally centered on exports and offshore trade of Japanese marine products, but we are shifting to a business model of ‘Produce overseas, Sell overseas' to strengthen sales in high-growth overseas markets.

Development of production sites aimed at expanding global sales.

In 2022, we completed the factory in Thailand dedicated to producing grilled fish, simmered fish, sushi toppings, and frozen sushi. Now, we are providing these products to Japanese revolving sushi chains in Southeast Asia and to Western markets, in addition to Japan. Following this, in 2024, we finished constructing the factory for processing marine products and frozen food in Vietnam, and the factory dedicated to the manufacture of imitation crab meat in North America.

Moreover, to boost our operations in Europe, we invested in Turkish and Dutch companies that produce frozen food using seafood as the main ingredient, turning them into consolidated subsidiaries within the same year. This is part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing our overseas production bases.
